Get ready to immerse yourself in a vibrant tapestry of creativity at MOSAIC, an exciting social mixer hosted by the Greater New Braunfels Arts Council (GNBAC). On Thursday, April 11, 2024, starting with the ribbon cutting of the newest HOAM mural at 4:30 p.m. and onwards from 5:30 PM, the MOSAIC promises to provide an unforgettable experience for all lovers of the arts. Free for all to attend.
Schedule of Events
4:30 p.m.- Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: HOAM Train Mural Dedication Be sure to attend the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce’s Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in honor of the Historic Outdoor Art Museum’s newest mural, “Connecting New Braunfels to the World”, located on the Staunch building at 297 W San Antonio St, directly across from the Brauntex Theatre. The ceremony will be held outside at that location.
5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.- Open Mixer: At 5:30 p.m., we open the doors to the public, welcoming everyone to join in the celebration. With a full cash bar and tantalizing offerings from Lilia’s Cuisine food truck, indulge your senses as you mingle amidst the creative energy of New Braunfels. Be sure to visit the Brauntex Theatre Lobby to get the latest information on all GNBAC members and raffle tickets to win some amazing prizes. GNBAC will also announce the winners of the 2024 Arts Scholarships.
Unforgettable Performances: Prepare to be spellbound as the evening unfolds with special performances by the melodic Mid-Texas Symphony, the graceful Ballet Texas, the captivating En Vivo Theatrical, and live musical entertainment curated by the historic Brauntex Theatre. From classical music to mesmerizing dance routines and a gripping theatrical showcase, experience the magic of live performance like never before.
Performance Schedule:- Brauntex Theatre presents the Brett Cline Quartet- 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Ballet Texas performs Pharaoh's Daughter Pas de Trios, Romeo and Juliette Pas de Deux, Crazy Little Thing Called Love- 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- En Vivo Theatrical performs selections from Red, White, and Tuna, by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard, Featuring Beau Gregersen and Paul Padilla and I'll Eat You Last, By John Logan, Featuring Elisabeth Anne playing powerhouse Hollywood talent agent to the stars Sue Mengers- 6:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
- Mid-Texas Symphony Chamber Players perform Alice Gomez’ Latin Jazz Suite featuring Principal Trumpet Andrew Gignac and Principal Percussionist Sherry Rubins- from 6:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
