2024 Guadalupe County Women of Influence Nominations

The Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce, Texas Women of Influence Conference Committee is proud to announce that the 2023 Guadalupe County Woman of Influence Awardee is Krista Moreno. Mrs. Moreno was nominated by a community member and chosen from an amazing group of nominations by a non-biased group from outside of the area to receive this award. Krista is a lifelong resident of Seguin and the owner of both businesses Bloom Realty, LLC and Diamond Air - A/C & Heating Services. Krista is the epitome of community service. For the past 20 years she has dedicated countless hours advocating for the advancement of the teachers and students of Seguin ISD. She has served on the Seguin Education Foundation Board of Directors for 15 years and currently serves as the Vice President of Board Development as well as chair of the Celebration of Excellence Committee. Throughout the school year, she and Ben, her husband, adopt two campuses which benefit from the generous financial and resource support from their respective companies. Krista was also the organizer of Political Action Committees in 2019 and 2022 in support of major bonds for Seguin ISD. These bonds have resulted in new facilities for students, staff, and the community. Among these are the new Matador Football Stadium, AJB Middle School rebuild, and numerous improvements throughout the district. She is also on the Board of Directors for Communities in Schools of South-Central Texas which provides basic needs and academic assistance to students. In her spare time, she is an active member of Four Rivers Association of Realtors and is a commissioner on the City of Seguin’s Planning and Zoning Commission.
